Bleacher Reports predicts that the Orlando Magic will win the 2010-2011 NBA Championship.
The safe bet on this year’s Super Bowl is the New England Patriots. According to Sports Betting World, 34% of gamblers expect Tom Brady and the Patriots to win Super Bowl XLV.
Media Predictions
Leaks become a new form of journalism. Wikileaks has already inspired other whistle blowing sites like Openleaks and Tradeleaks.
New Media gets validated with more mergers. Major media companies will continue to acquire new media sites.
Bigger emphasis on Mobile. News Corp plans to release The Daily, an iPad only magazine. Mashable says you can expect more companies to follow suit.
Tech Predictions for 2011
Bigger emphasis on mobile gaming. TG Daily says “If you don’t have a “Touch” something by this time in 2011, you will be as dated as the guy down the road who still plays mix tapes on a 1980-something “boom box.”
Android outsells iPhone. CNBC says that Google will get a bigger hold on the mobile market, but wont be able to compete with Apple in terms of profit.
Business Insider says that Microsoft will buy Nokia. Microsoft needs to make a big move if it wants to stay competitive in the mobile market.
