According to Apple.pro Apple are working on 3 different prototypes for the iPhone 5. One of these is said to include a sliding keyboard while the other two are apparently more spec boosts.
It certainly would be interesting to see an iPhone with a slide out keyboard, however i'm not too sure it would happen since Apple hate buttons and are advocates for touch screen gestures.
In relation to the two other iPhone prototypes, the source claims that they are similar to the current iPhone 4 but with an upgraded battery, and an 8 mega pixel camera. You could claim that it's a jump that was similar to the iPhone 3G to the iPhone 3GS, no real design changes, just new internals.
It's important to remember that these are just prototypes if they are real so may never make it to the market. The only thing is Apple.pro seem to have a habit of being fairly accurate with their Apple news.
